Nureva uses HDL410 for super-large mixed room audio

Described as the first in a new generation of audio conferencing solutions, Nureva has launched the HDL410. The system is designed to simplify the task of achieving great audio in large mixing spaces without the cost and complexity of traditional solutions. It combines two microphones and a sound bar with Nureva's new connectivity module powered by Microphone Mist technology and a new unified coverage map for working and studying in extra-large Provide professional audio performance in the space.

A unified coverage map enables both microphones and sound bar to work together as a single device for consistent coverage throughout the space. This improves audio performance and accuracy of sound position data when cameras switch and turn, while eliminating the need for manual setup and dealing with complex overlapping coverage areas of multiple ceiling microphones.

The new Console Direct feature provides a secure and continuous connection between the HDL410 and Nureva Console, enabling IT staff to manage the system remotely without relying on an in-room computer running client software. Users can remotely install firmware updates, check device status, view analytics and historical data, change settings, and access APIs from the Nureva Developer Toolkit. Also new to the HDL410 is the addition of an Audience Mute function in Voice Amplification Mode, which focuses the microphone pickup on the presenter or lecturer's voice while reducing pickup by all other microphones.

Connected via USB, the HDL410 can be installed and running in about an hour, requires no DSP, only requires two screws to secure the sound bar to the wall, and features real-time continuous auto-calibration. Microphone Mist technology handles echo cancellation, noise reduction, position-based gain control, and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous speeches. It can be integrated with leading UC&C platforms and is currently undergoing Microsoft Teams certification, which will make it the first soundbar certified for use with integrated microphones in very large Microsoft Teams rooms.
